Here's a collection of some really thought provoking statements made by my 3 year old son.

1. This happened around an year back. He knows one sardar boy in the locality-'Akhand'. He saw one more sardar boy for the first time, and his reaction was "See Mamma, 2-2 akhands."

2. He wanted to go cycling in the night and presented his wish before his dad. Tired dad said " hum kal jaayenge. Aaj mein thak gaya hoon." (We will go tomorrow. I m very tired today.) The good boy agreed. But this went on for 2 days. On the third day he again wanted to go. Without waiting for a response, his next statement was " Aaj 'kal' ho gaya hai papa. No cheating." Did someone say 'tomorrow never comes'?

3. My sister-in-law had to undergo some minor surgery. She was resting in her room. Dvij's question- " Why is maami lying on the bed? Is she getting repaired? "

4. I took him in my lap and told- " Dvij i want some energy. Give me a hug." He got up. Went back, took a long run and came and jumped on me , giving a hug. "See mamma, i brought so much energy for u."
